We’ve screwed ourselves over with the tolerance-of-intolerance paradox, and too many people still don’t get it. I’d be lying if I said I knew how to fix this. I have long-term solutions in mind—they’re pretty straightforward in theory—but it's getting the masses moving that is another beast entirely.

A quick update – I got the gumption to self-host, so I’m in the process of getting everything moved. I guess moved isn’t the right word, because it is moved now. I need to unpack. The second worst part of moving. I need to make a few changes yet, but will be settled in shortly. I’m hoping to have a local project hosted here soon, too! More to come on that.

You're not in this alone. Use what others have put online and your own personal perspective. Understand other perspectives and then find what underlying issues we as a society need to address. And don't be afraid to start and have really, really awkward conversations because we do not know how to engage with random people about such serious topics. It's difficult, but be prepared to have a lot of grace when working with someone in good faith.

We, the people of the United States, united in our shared pursuit of justice, equality, and opportunity, declare that our nation faces a crossroads. The promise of liberty and prosperity, enshrined in our founding documents, has been overshadowed by challenges that threaten the well-being of our society and the integrity of our democracy. To fulfill the vision of a fair and equitable future, we must confront the systemic issues that divide us and reaffirm our collective commitment to unity, progress, and human dignity.

“Lawmakers are divided on new voting restrictions.” This sounds so neutral, right? Oh, just a healthy debate among professionals. But let’s be honest—those “restrictions” are about disenfranchising voters, mostly Black and brown communities.

Language shapes how we perceive the world, and those in power exploit this to maintain control. By reframing sanitized terms like 'lobbying' as 'bribery' or 'elites' as 'parasites,' we expose the truth behind these euphemisms and reclaim the narrative for meaningful change.

Remember the color of Mexico being that orange-yellow haze? I think it was Breaking Bad when that really hit a height of ridiculous. But I was thinking about the US perception of Mexico and how that’s really come from the “top” down. We share one of the busiest borders in the world, trade billions of dollars every year, and collaborate on things that actually make life better for both countries. But instead of talking about that, politicians keep selling this TV version of reality, all to score points with voters who’ve never even thought about why so many people cross the border in the first place. Let’s flip this script.…

You know, it was about time the billionaires got a win. Really happy for them. Time for some stream of consciousness writing with minor editing. I wanted to put together some thoughts of what’s next. The only thing that really changes are a bunch of people with enlarged amygdalas, coupled with likely a lesser amount of sociopaths, and then whatever top percents of wealth allow you to trade in any sense of humanity for more wealth until the cognitive dissonance rings loud enough to apparently smooth over most of the brain all came together to make the sledding tougher. I’m not going to go in and attack Americans who were…

Haven’t written much lately because I haven’t had any thoughts I wanted to flesh out. I’ve been in a mode of taking in some info and doing some leather working. So, for info – just paying attention to what’s going on as we get nearly a month away from the climax of the presidential election that includes Kamala Harris, and some old guy. I gave a bit of a take recently (what is recent in how fast big new things happen) but after sitting on it for longer, I’m optimistic enough for this go-round, especially if the justice department gains momentum in dismantling the Russian/GOP/General Wealth interference in elections. Hell,…
